Congratulation to GAAC student Anna Seo (Gr.6 / 13 yrd) for entering the semi-finalist of 2023 SCIENCE WITHOUT BORDERS® CHALLENGE, Ages 11-14.
The topic of this year’s contest is “The Sixth Extinction”. The students will use art to present the beauty of endangered marine species of and inform us to take action towards these marine lives.

Overall, there are almost 1200 qualifying pieces of artwork from 66 different countries were submitted, and in the 11–14-year-old category, there are almost 650 submissions. Students through their own interpretations and understandings portrayed marine endangered organism in their artwork in a variety of ways and depicting the beauty and magic of their chosen organism. At the end, the judges chose 37 remarkable pieces of artwork in the 11–14-year-old category to become semi-finalists. These young artists span from 13 countries around the world. Let us congrats to Anna again.
