Call for 2024 Fall/Winter Designers
The 2024 Fall/Winter collection's New York Fashion Week runway show will take place in February 2024 in New York. This six-month program allows students to immerse themselves in the fashion industry from the perspectives of designers and brand founders. Clothing is a means to reveal one's soul to others, and we look forward to meeting the 'hand of God' that shapes intriguing souls. Essentially, fashion is a form of self-expression, conveying one's understanding of the world, beauty, emotions, and more. As a designer, one's contemplation often extends beyond trends and may delve deeper into life itself.
GAAC, the Green Apple Art Center, is an industry leader and one of the very few schools globally equipped with comprehensive learning and practical courses. In 2015, GAAC helped students establish Vitruvius, the world's first new-generation designer brand composed entirely of high school students, aged 15 to 18. This initiative led students to the stage of New York Fashion Week. This paved the way for the birth of the New York Fashion Week project. Over the years, the program has evolved significantly, giving rise to numerous emerging designers and bolstering the applications of many aspiring talents.
Since the inception of this program, numerous students have shone on the stage of New York Fashion Week. Each year, the fashion brand Vitruvius, created by GAAC students, receives coverage and acclaim from local and international media. Many students have earned recognition and praise from top industry experts. The project's work and the entire experience of participating in Fashion Week have become valuable credentials for students applying to colleges.
