On June 10, we held a term critique at GAAC for students to gain feedback from guest critics John Halliday and Hai-Ping Lee.
John Halliday is a visionary creative director from Vancouver, British Columbia. He is fuelled by a passion for nurturing artistic potential and his talents shine through his mastery in blending art with modern trends, creating memorable impressions that resonate with audiences.
Hai-Ping Lee applies an innovative approach to oil and watercolour painting. Her mixed media work on rice paper combines both traditional and modern styles. She has travelled extensively, taking photographs and using them as reference material for her paintings. Hai-Ping has been dubbed an “experimental artist,” enjoying the challenges of new subjects, mediums, and genres.
Thank you, John and Hai-Ping, for attending our term critique!
